Every holster style will be different when it comes to exotic leather trim. Above is a few examples of different holster models with exotic leather trim. Usually on a holster the mouth of the holster area will be in exotic leather trim. On the original holster it would be the extra piece of leather.

Belt Slide Master Carry (C-2) — MTR Custom Leather aka-A-6 Deluxe Full-Size Pancake Holster

The C-2 Belt Slide Master Carry is very similar to our A-6 Deluxe Full-Size Pancake Holster. They both have the re-enforced mouth. You might ask what is a re-enforce mouth on a holster. This is located at the opening of the holster where you would insert the weapon. This can become one of the weaker parts on a holster, due to drawing and inserting the weapon with force many times. The mouth of the holster can become weak from turning, twisting and leaning towards the weapon and holster with your body. This causes stretching on the mouth of the holster because it’s Constance pressure on the handle of the weapon with your body (hip, back, muffin top).

The re-enforce mouthpiece on the holster is the little sewn triangle piece of leather on the front of the holster located at the trigger guard and slide of the weapon near the top of the weapon towards the handle.

The Belt Slide Master Carry (C-2) is a very simple design and is made with a drop through configuration. This allows multiple barrel lengths to work with this product without having multiple holsters. Belt Slide Master Carry (C-2) is intended for outside

the waistband (OWB) carry. The leather belt slots on the Belt Slide Master Carry (C-2)can fit up to 1-1/2 gunbelt(2 layer) or 1-3/4 regular belt (1 layer). The C-2 Holster fits very snug to the waist.

New Service for your MTR Custom Leather Holster- Tighter Retention.

First you need to understand how leather changes. As it is a skin, it will stretch under pressure, climate, use/wear and reform. To a certain extent it will shape to your weapon. But over time after wearing the holster and pulling and drawing and the weight of the weapon sagging into the leather daily or weekly causes a lot of stress on the natural leather grains and fibers constantly breaking them down. Similar to our muscles, joints and tendons in our body, the more you use them they are to break down and tear.

There are ways to prevent the stretching process from happening so fast, by applying waxes to reseal the leather fibers and to keep them strong and durable with each use.

Process:

After you checkout and pay for your service to have your holster tighten up.

1-Send the holster back to MTR Custom Leather at:

MTR Custom Leather, LLC-5052 Doc Hayworth Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316

2-Put a note in the box, with your order number and email

3-Once MTR receives the holster(s), MTR will inform by email

4-Give MTRCL 3-4 business days to repair the holster. MTRCL will send you tracking by email once the order has been shipped.

What we do?

MTR Custom Leather will take the leather holster and remold the leather around the weapon to get the shape back into the holster. This will allow MTR to see the areas where the holster has stretched around the weapon. Then MTR Custom Leather will sew another line of stitching around the loose areas of the holster around the weapon to secure the tight remold fitment of the weapon in the holster. Next, MTRCL will rewax and seal the leather fibers. Buff the wax deep into the grains. Then add a topcoat of flexible seal/wax to the finish product.

End Results:

The retention will be similar to the same retention as when you first received the holster years ago.

Disclaimer:

This process may need to be repeated over time as more use of the holster occurs. Lifetime of the holster’s retention is determined by the use the holster. Similar to windshield wipers.

The P365-380 offers all the same features as America’s #1 selling micro-compact pistol, now in the softer shooting 380 caliber resulting in easier handling and less felt recoil.

The long-awaited P365 chambered in 380 is finally here, creating a new, softer shooting, easier handling micro-compact option for everyday carry. It uses the same grip module and fire control unit as the popular 9mm version with a lightened slide and barrel making it completely compatible with all existing P365 holsters.  With a Nitron® finished stainless slide, DLC barrel, and completely redesigned two-piece captured guide rod, the P365-380 is the most durable 380 micro-compact pistol on the market.  Rigorously tested at SIG SAUER, the P365-380 was designed for all shooters, especially those with smaller hands and those who find the manipulation and recoil management of 9mm caliber pistols challenging.
