The Double IWB Mag Carrier is our high capacity IWB mag carrier. This mag carrier allows you to not only carry one mag, but two mags comfortably all day. This carrier has a wide platform and two clips on either side for stability. The A-6M Double IWB Mag Carrier comes with a natural leather backing for comfort and to eliminate any rub off. This will insure comfort for all day wear. The tuckable powder coated black metal clips can fit up to 1-1/2 gunbelt(2 layer) or 1-3/4 regular belt (1 layer). The A-6M fits very snug to the waist. The A-6M is easy for re-holstering one handed in one single motion. The A-6M is equipped with heavy duty nylon stitching to help reduce any tearing or dry rotting of the stitches. Only the best top grain leather is used for this holster. You can count on this holster securing your spare mag in place. Each A-6M mag carrier is hand molded to each mag of choice, ensuring a nice tight glove fit.
NOTE: When ordering pay close attention to the RH (right hand) and LH (left hand) option. Our mag carriers are made with the bullets facing forward. Some people carry their mags different. Example (RH means you’re a right hand shooter and the mag will go on the left side with the bullets facing forward). If you carry with your bullets facing backward simply choose the opposite hand you shoot with and the bullets will be facing backward while wearing your mag carrier on the opposite side of your weapon. Example (choose LH if you are wanting the bullets to be facing backward if you are right handed, since these Paddle Mag Carriers can be worn virtually anywhere on the belt. Please note in the comment section at checkout if you would like the leather molded a certain direction for your magazines, otherwise the leather will be molded to carry the magazines in either direction.

However, before weighing on that topic, it’s important to understand exactly what a railed 1911 is. The rail is a common abbreviation for a Picatinny rail (also called a 1913 Rail, Tactical Rail, or STANAG Rail). These rails are basically a bracket that is built into the weapon frame which serves as a platform for accessories such as lights or lasers. For the purposes of this discussion, we’ll be using the rail term to define a tactical rail that either mounted or built into the frame of a pistol underneath the barrel (see the picture above).
