These A-3 Adversary IWB Clip-On Holsters have NOT been used or return. They are all NEW holsters that just have been sitting on the shelf or have a slight defect that did not pass inspection due to the color coming out wrong, scar/bug bit mark from the cow, etc.

ALL RIGHT HAND AND BLACK IN COLOR

Adversary Holster IWB (A-3) is made for all small weapons and intended for IWB (inside the waistband) carry. This holster comes with a heavy duty powder-coated black single holster clip. The Adversary holster comes with a double layered reinforced sweat shield/body shield, this helps for long term use of the holster. This enables the weapon to NOT touch the body and your body from touching the weapon. No more sharp edges rubbing up against the body. And no more “Wohoo” because the weapon is cold and touching you. Natural body oils (sweat) is very acid and can cause internal rusting inside of the slide of hammer of the weapon. Keep in mind if your weapon is stainless steel, sometimes the internal parts of the weapon is not stainless steel.

MTR Custom Leather does not stop there with the quality, MTR ensures that the entire barrel is completely covered, to prevent any damage of the barrel and sight. Also helps with the draw, one does not have to worry about the sight catching when drawing. Quality is a must, therefore, we use heavy duty nylon stitching, to ensure long term durability of the holster. One can add double stitching to the holster, this will increase the retention of the weapon in the holster.

Check out the fine details on the holster. We use 20 tons of pressure to acquire the best retention on the weapon while seated into the holster. The Adversary is hand molded to each weapon to ensure the fine details in the holster to fit nice tight like a glove. The holster clips can fit up to 1-1/2 gunbelt(2 layer) or 1-3/4 regular belt (1 layer).This is the newest and affordable holster on the market.

Double Stitched Holsters-Explained in better detail-Why? Retention, Size, Strength, Etc. All Explained

Double stitching is a second line of stitching. This will aid in better retention and long term use of the holster. (extra $15.99) (prices may vary over time). However, keep in mind that the holster or leather product that you receive may not be double stitched all the round the holster.

WHY?

Example picture below of the thumb break strap on the A-4 Avenger Scabbard Holster is not stitched.

To make the thumb break strap functional, concealable and safe, MTR Custom Leather did not include a 3rd and 4th line of stitching. A few reasons why?

1- The hardware is in the way. The military directional snap both female and male is located right in the middle of the thumb break strap. Also, the thumb break metal tab is also located in the middle of the strap.

But WHY Don’t you made the strap wider?

Some weapons are too small around the back side of the weapon (slide area). Next, more leather is less concealability, heavier in weight, will stretch faster=less retention for long term use.

Why didn’t you double stitch the bottom of the holster?

Great question!

The bottom of the holster could be double stitched, however, it would add another 1/8”+ to the bottom of the holster.

WHY?

MTR Custom Leather uses heavy duty sewing machines with a large needle. In fact our sewing machines could sew through a 1/4″ of ply-wood. WOW! Watch out fingers! We only use the best, including heavy duty NYLON thread, not cotton. WHY? That way the thread will last longer , hold up the weapon better which leads to better retention and durability. Also, no dry rotting or tearing easy like cotton thread.

Okay, back to the real question, our sewing machine footer (Google states: A walking foot or even feed foot works with your machine to feed the layers through the machine, you guessed it, evenly) FYI, I just do leather, not technical on the terms or writing BLOGs..lol..so forgive me on the grammar, misspell, etc.) Okay any who, the presser foot requires so much room for sewing, in our case it’s about 1/8″. Over the past years majority, well all customers want the smallest, lightest, concealable, safest holster. Therefore, we do not add any more leather to the end of the holster, we use the acronym “KISS” if you don’t know what that means GOOGLE it! 🙂

1/8″+ in the gun world of concealment can be huge when it comes to hiding your friend on your side! However, if you want that extra line of stitching on the bottom of the holster, then SHOOT, we can do it for you! No problem! Since MTR Custom Leather hand crafts each and every product, we can add more leather and double stitch around the bottom of the holster and guess what? WHAT you ask?

It’s FREE because it’s unusual, but possible! lol.. forgive me for my humor. It’s like a Monday here!

The Double IWB Mag Carrier is our high capacity IWB mag carrier. This mag carrier allows you to not only carry one mag, but two mags comfortably all day. This carrier has a wide platform and two clips on either side for stability. The A-6M Double IWB Mag Carrier comes with a natural leather backing for comfort and to eliminate any rub off. This will insure comfort for all day wear. The tuckable powder coated black metal clips can fit up to 1-1/2 gunbelt(2 layer) or 1-3/4 regular belt (1 layer). The A-6M fits very snug to the waist. The A-6M is easy for re-holstering one handed in one single motion. The A-6M is equipped with heavy duty nylon stitching to help reduce any tearing or dry rotting of the stitches. Only the best top grain leather is used for this holster. You can count on this holster securing your spare mag in place. Each A-6M mag carrier is hand molded to each mag of choice, ensuring a nice tight glove fit.

NOTE: When ordering pay close attention to the RH (right hand) and LH (left hand) option. Our mag carriers are made with the bullets facing forward. Some people carry their mags different. Example (RH means you’re a right hand shooter and the mag will go on the left side with the bullets facing forward). If you carry with your bullets facing backward simply choose the opposite hand you shoot with and the bullets will be facing backward while wearing your mag carrier on the opposite side of your weapon. Example (choose LH if you are wanting the bullets to be facing backward if you are right handed, since these Paddle Mag Carriers can be worn virtually anywhere on the belt. Please note in the comment section at checkout if you would like the leather molded a certain direction for your magazines, otherwise the leather will be molded to carry the magazines in either direction.
