MTR Custom Leather Offers VIRIDIAN ENHANCED COMBAT READINESS (ECR)
When you draw, it’s on
With Enhanced Combat Readiness (ECR) now part of every universal Viridian laser, you can achieve inhumanly fast response to crisis. Just pre-set the Viridian laser/taclight mode, slide your gun into your TacLoc holster, and the ECR system is armed and ready. The instant gun leaves holster, the laser fires a brilliant beam that cuts through daylight or darkness as fast as you can draw.
With virtually unlimited laser and/or taclight modes and the breakthrough ECR system, Viridian has elevated combat readiness to a whole new level. Draw-and-activate is obsolete. Partner up with ECR and get the drop on evil.
The Viridian C Series, X Series (excluding RS), and REACTOR Series are equipped with ECR technology and activate when drawn from our MTR Custom Leather holsters.
Please use the following guidelines to determine if your current Viridian laser sight is equipped with ECR technology:
- C5 units with serial numbers beginning at or higher than C019860.
- C5L units with serial numbers beginning at or higher than C018000.
- X5L (Gen 2) units with serial numbers beginning at or higher than X002830.

NEW Beretta M9A4 Optics Ready Pistol
Beretta has just released their latest version of the famous 92 series, the Beretta M9A4, which comes as an improvement over the M9A3. The primary difference between the A3 to the M9A4 is the addition of factory optics cuts on the top of the pistol’s slide, which was previously only achieved via aftermarket services or products. Beretta’s M9A4 webpage states that there are five different optics mounting plates available, and at the time of this publishing, Beretta stated that M9A4 buyers can get an optics plate for free upon registering their pistol.
BERETTA M9A4 SPECIFICATIONS:
The following is from Beretta’s website:
Aside from the new optics ready feature, the M9A4 uses the “Vertec” grip angle which is narrower front to back than the original Beretta 92 style. It will also be available with 10, 15, or 18 round magazines. The M9A4 will come with the “G” style decocker-only lever as opposed to having a manual safety and decocker combination. The M9A4’s MSRP is listed at $1099.00, but as of yet, no mention of how much the additional optics plates will cost outside of users getting one free when registering with Beretta. You can view the product page HERE, or visit Beretta.com to see all of their products. You can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
