This holster gives you the best of both worlds by offering an inside the waist band (IWB) holster that converts to outside the waistband (OWB) by easily taking off our USA powder coated holster clips. When removed they reveal our molded belts slots for our famous close riding pancake. This holster has become one of our top sellers due to the versatility of having both IWB and OWB capabilities. We only use the finest bull hide and hardware on this holster to ensure the longevity and durable wear for years to come. We reinforce the mouth for easy one handed re-holstering and to prevent collapsing while carrying IWB. This holster by far is a great wearing holster both OWB and IWB. Also, this holster is tuckable, so you can tuck your shirt behind the metal clips. The holster clips/belt slots can fit up to 1-1/2 gunbelt(2 layer) or 1-3/4 regular belt (1 layer).

IMO, nothing beats a custom leather holster. I’ve been using leather holsters for 20+ years now and it’s still better than any plastic or kydex holster I’ve tried. The key to any fine leather holster is the attention to detail. My favorite leather holster vendor went out of business and I haven’t found a suitable replacement until now. MTR is different from your typical leather holster. Others call themselves “custom” but are very limited in gun choices, holster styles, configurations, etc. – that’s not custom IMO. MTR allows you to truly customize your holster for almost any handgun with many combinations of gun and holster options. One of my favorite and hard to find holster design is the dual purpose A-2 IWB/OWB holster for my Walther PPK/S. An ingenious design I rarely see, and MTR does it well. Top grade leather that is thick and firm, easily converts to IWB/OWB, and looks great with excellent retention.
To summarize, the extra money spent on a quality custom leather holster cannot beat. Anyone who says plastic is better, has not tried a “real” leather holster. As a long time connoisseur of leather holsters, MTR should be your only choice.
